VERY IMPORTANT NOTES!
1. Always TEST Sakura pens (or any other
pens) and their inks before using them to sign or fill in a ketubah!
2.Colors represented on this page are approximations of the
actual pen colors. Differences in monitor types and calibrations will alter
the your perception of these colors. Difference in the color of the background
upon which the pen is used will affect its final color, as well.
3. While these pens are “archival,” the coated,
cotton paper, such as we use to print our ketubot, is not the optimal surface
on which to use these pens. Testing on like paper (will be provided) should
be done prior to using these pens during your ceremony. The coating and cotton
fibers may clog the pen. A soft piece of cloth and separate sheet of pulp-based
paper, such as notebook or copy paper, should be available to help "restart" the
pen if it becomes clogged. (Use the cloth to wipe dust or dried ink from the
nib, and then test the pen on the non-ketubah paper.) Care should be taken not
to use too much pressure when using the Sakura pen on a print to avoid damage
to the print.
